Did you just get a puppy from either a breeder, retail facility or rescue organization?  Have you either had a puppy before and it's been a long time and you need some reminders, or you've never had one and have NO clue on where to start?  Well then this is the perfect course for you.  This course will teach you everything you need to know to raise a well-behaved puppy and create a long-term healthy, strong and successful relationship with your beloved canine companion.  Important topics will include but will not be limited to:  Proper communication, potty training, crate training/sleeping arrangements, canine communication, diet and nutrition, toys/bones/treats, collars/harnesses/leashes, and more.

    Time:  6:30p-8:30p

Does your dog constantly jump, steal food off of the counter, nip at you constantly, or always demand your attention?  When you leave the house, does separation anxiety take control?  Or, do you have a million holes in your back yard from your dog digging, or does your dog bark at every little thing?  This course will address the most common behavior problems that are faced to help you become less stressed and teach you how to better control your pooch.  Just keep in mind that your dog does NOT want to act and feel this way...it is just as upsetting to them as it is to you!

    Thursday Evenings

    Next Class Begins: Thursday, 9/14/17

    Length:  1 week

    Time:  6:30p - 8:30p

    Cost:  $75.00 per person

Are you thinking about getting a dog but have no clue where to start?  Or do you currently have a dog and your relationship isn't going that well?  The number one mistake that people make before getting their Fido is not doing their research.   How much do you really know about the breed you're interested in?   The majority of the population decides to get a puppy or dog because they "look cute" and it has nothing to do for the love of the breed.  Not too long after, you are calling a trainer because you have a nightmare of a dog that is out of control.  Important topics will include but will not be limited to: Discussion of popular breeds, what to consider when wanting a dog, exercise requirements, proper communication, body language, what a dog really wants, diet and nutrition, toys/bones/treats, and more.
